Digital photography has fascinated me for over 15 years. It is mainly the combination of actually taking a picture and processing of the raw content that makes digital photography so exciting and
creative. You do not just take a picture – in the editing process you can also emphasize an atmosphere or a message. For me, color is one of the most important design aspects of a photograph.
Many of my pictures have a very special color grading or dynamic range. Such colors transmit a particular atmosphere – they touch the viewer.
For me, the second most important design element is the sharpness of a picture. Although out-of-focus photographs are in fashion, I have to say that I don't really like this style. Pictures with a brilliant sharpness are like a window to a virtual world - they drag you into the picture, they make surfaces tangible and they are very present.
I am open for many kinds of projects whether it be event, object or portrait photography.
